Salary and Benefits
Emoluments: Basic pay of Rs. 50925/- in the scale of Rs. 50925-2500(14)- 85925-2710(4)-96765 and other admissible allowance as applicable.
Benefits: Other benefits such as Pension under New Pension system governed by PFRDA, Gratuity, LTS, Medical Benefits, Group Personal Accident Insurance etc. shall be applicable as per rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification
- Accounts: B. Com with at least 60 %(55% for SC/ST) from a recognised University or MBA (Finance) from a recognised University or CA from ICAI.
- Actuarial: Master Degree in Statistics/ Mathematics/ Actuarial Science or any other quantitative discipline from a recognised University.
- Engineer (IT): M.E./M. Tech in Information Technology/Computer Science/Electronics & Communication(ECE) Discipline from a recognised University or MCA with min 60 % (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised University.
- Engineers: B.E./B. Tech in Automobile/ Mechanical/ electrical/Civil/Chemical/Power with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST) from a recognised University.
- Doctors: MBBS/BDS from a recognised University.
- Legal: Graduate in Law with at least 60% (55% for SC/ST) from recognised University.
Age Limit
Candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 30 years of age as on 31st December, 2023. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
Application Fee
Application fee of Rs. 250/- for SC/ST/PwBD candidates and Rs. 1000/- for
other candidates shall need to be paid through online.

Application Process

Selection Procedure
The selection process of Insurance Job in Oriental Insurance Company Ltd. for the post of Administrative Officers (AO) consists of the following phases:
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination
Preliminary examination consists of objective tests for 100 marks which will be conducted online. The test will be consist of 3 sections (English Language, Reasoning Ability and Quantitative Aptitude).

Phase-II: Main Examination
Main examination will consist of Objective Tests for 200 marks and
Descriptive Test for 30 marks. Both the Objective and Descriptive Tests
will be conducted online. Candidates will have to answer Descriptive Test
typing on the computer and Immediately after completion of Objective Test,
Descriptive Test will be administered.

Phase-III: Interview
Candidates who have been shortlisted at the end of Phase-II will be called for an Interview to be conducted by the company, up to three times the number of vacancies of respective category.
