Salary and Benefits
Scale of Pay:
- Sub-Inspector (SI): Pay Level - 6 (Rs. 35,400 – 1,12,400/- per month) and other allowances as per Indian Railways employee rules.
- Constable: Pay Level- 3 (Rs. 21,700 - 69,100/- per month) and other allowances as per Indian Railways employee rules.
Eligibility Criteria
Education Qualification:
- Sub-Inspector (SI): Candidates must Graduate in any discipline from any recognised University.
- Constable: Candidates must 10th pass or its equivalent from a recognised Board or Institution by the government of India.
Age Limit:
- Sub-Inspector: The candidate should not be less than 20 years of age and not more than 28 years of age as on 1st July, 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable as per the government rules (please refer to the official notification for details).
- Constable: The candidate should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 28 years of age as on 1st July, 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable as per the government rules (please refer to the official notification for details).
Examination Fee:
An examination fees of Rs. 500/- for General and Rs. 250/- for SC / ST / Ex-Servicemen, Female, Minorities or Economically Backward Class (EBC) candidates shall need to be paid through online mode only.

Selection Procedure
The selection process of RPF Recruitment 2024 for the post of Sub-Inspector and Constable consists of the following stages:
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
