Job Details
Additional Secretary (1), Protocol Officer (1), Language Reporter- GR-II (2), Assistant Librarian (1), Stenographer- Gr-III (2)
Salary and Benefits
Scale of Pay:
- Additional Secretary: Rs. 30,000 - 1,10,000 per month plus Grade pay of Rs. 17,500/- and other allowances as admissible as per govt rules. (Pay Band-4).
- Protocol Officer: Rs. 30,000 - 1,10,000 per month plus Grade pay of Rs. 14,500/- and other allowances as admissible as per govt rules. (Pay Band-4).
- Language Reporter- GR-II: Rs. 22,000 - 97,000 per month plus Grade pay of Rs. 9,400/- and other allowances as admissible as per govt rules. (Pay Band-3).
- Assistant Librarian: Rs. 14,000 - 70,000 per month plus Grade pay of Rs. 8,700/- and other allowances as admissible as per govt rules. (Pay Band-2).
- Stenographer- Gr-III: Rs. 14,000 - 70,000 per month plus Grade pay of Rs. 8,700/- and other allowances as admissible as per govt rules. (Pay Band-2).
Eligibility Criteria
Additional Secretary
- Education Qualification:Candidates must possess a Degree of Bachelor of Law from any recognised University.
- Experience:
- Candidate must have a minimum 7 Years of experience as Joint Secretary or equivalent in any Government department of Assam.
- Candidates must have sound knowledge in Constitutional Law and Parliamentary Practice & Procedure.
- Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 50 years of age and not more than 55 years of age at the time of application.
Protocol Officer
- Education Qualification:Candidates must possess Master Degree in any discipline with at least 60 % (percent) from any recognised University.
- Experience:
- Candidate must have 4 (four) years of working experience in any govt./semi govt. office/organisation.
- Candidates having a degree in Tourism & Hospitality Management will be given preference.
- Candidates must have good command over English, Assamese & Hindi language.
- Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 30 years of age and not more than 40 years of age at the time of application.
Language Reporter Grade II
- Education Qualification:Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognised University.
- Experience:
- No candidate shall be eligible to sit for speed test at 100 w.p.m in Assamese unless the candidate has a certificate of Stenography in Assamese with 80 w.p.m from any recognised Institute.
- Candidates must have computer knowledge.
- Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age at the time of application.
Assistant Librarian
- Education Qualification:Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Library Science from any recognised University.
- Experience:
- Candidate must have 5 (five) years of experience dealing with library management in reputed Institution/organisation/govt office and have practical knowledge in digital library.
- Age Limit: The candidate should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age at the time of application.
Stenographer Grade-III
- Education Qualification:Candidates must possess a Bachelor's Degree in any discipline from any recognised University.
- Experience:
- No candidate shall be eligible to sit for speed test at 80 w.p.m in English unless the candidate has a certificate of Stenography from any recognised Institute.
- Candidates must have computer knowledge and be good at English.

age and not more than 38 years of age at the time of application.
Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for candidates belonging to ST
(Plain).
