Essential Qualifications
Education Qualification: HSLC/HSSLC with 3 (three) years Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering from a recognised Institute of Govt. of Assam or Govt of India and also duly recognised by AICTE.
Salary and Benefits
Scale of Pay: Pay Band-3 (Rs. 22,000 - 97,000)
Benefits: Pay Scale + Grade Pay + other allowances as per
admissible to the Assam state Government employees rules.
Other Terms and Conditions
- Age Limit: The candidates should not be less than 21 years of age and not more than 38 years of age on 1st January, 2024. The Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST, 3 years for OBC/MOBC and 10 years for PeBD candidates.
- Candidate must be an Indian citizen as defined in article 5 to 8 of the Constitution of India and must be a permanent resident of Assam.
- Domicile: As a Domicile proof candidate must have a valid Permanent Resident Certificate of Assam or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.
- Examination Fees: Application fees of Rs. 297.20/- (Rs. 197.20 for SC/ST/OBC/MOBC and Rs. 47.20/- for BPL/PwBD) candidates need to be paid as application fees.

- Closing date for online application: 17th April, 2024.
- Last date for payment of application fee: 19th April, 2024.

- Class-X/Class-XII Examination, Admit Card/Pass Certificate/Mark-sheet issued by Central/State Board.
- Certificate & Mark-sheets of all examinations from HSLC onwards up to the level of qualifying examination.
- Diploma certificate along with mark-sheets pertaining to all the academic years as proof of educational qualification claimed.
- Caste certificate for candidates seeking reservation as SC/ST/OBC/MOBC.
- BPL certificate issued by govt of Assam. (if applicable)
