Introduction:

Directorate of Social Welfare Department Manipur is seeking online application for recruitment of different positions in the Social Welfare Department in Manipur on Contractual Basis.

All eligible candidates should get their names sponsored from the concerned District Employment Exchange Officers and hereinafter shall submit application online on the official website of Social Welfare Department of Manipur before 22nd March, 2024.

Essential Qualifications

• Superintendent: Post Graduate Degree in Social Work/Sociology/Child Development/Human Rights Public Administration/Psychology/Psychiatry/Law/Public Health/Community Resource Management from recognised University.
• Counsellor: Graduate in Social Work/Sociology/Psychology/Public Health/Counselling from a recognised University.
• Data Analyst: Graduate in Statistics/Mathematics/Economics/Computer(BCA) from a recognised University.
• Social Worker: Graduate preferably in SOcial Work/Sociology/Social Sciences from a recognised University.
• Accountant: Graduate in Commerce/Mathematics degree from a recognised University.
• Auxiliary Nurse Midwife: 10+2 or its equivalent Passed / Female Health Worker course from a recognised Institute. Must register with the state nursing council.
• Outreach Worker: Graduate from a recognised University or Institute.
• Assistant-cum-Data Entry Operator: Graduate and have completed a course on computer concepts (DOS/windows/Ms Office/ Multimedia/Internet) from a govt recognised Institute.
• Cook: HSLC or its equivalent from a recognised Institute and good knowledge of cooking manipuri and India dishes.
• Helper: HSLC or its equivalent from a recognised Institute.
• Housekeeper: HSLC or its equivalent from a govt recognised Institute and good physique.

Salary and Benefits

Superintendent (Pay matrix Level-7), Counsellor (Pay matrix Level-6), Data Analyst (Pay matrix Level-6),  Social Worker (Pay matrix Level-6), Accountant (Pay matrix Level-5), Auxiliary Nurse Midwife (Pay matrix Level-4), Outreach Worker (Pay matrix Level-3), Assistant-cum-Data Entry Operator (Pay matrix Level-4), Cook (Pay matrix Level-1), Helper (Pay matrix Level-1), Housekeeper (Pay matrix Level-1).

Other Terms and Conditions

• Age Limit: 18 years to 38 years. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5yrs for SC/ST candidates, 3yrs for OBC candidates and 10 years for PwBD candidates.
• The number of posts may be increased or decreased according to the vacant posts available in the department.
• Payable fees Rs. 500 for UR and Rs. 300 for ST/SC/OBC candidates. (exempted for PwD candidates).
• Eligible candidates for the post shall download Admit Cards from the Official website of Social Welfare Department of Manipur for appearing in the Written Test Examination on or before 3rd April, 2024.

Important Dates

•  Last date of Sponsorship by the District Employment Exchange is 20th March, 2024.
• Last date of online application form submission is 22nd March, 2024.
