Essential Qualifications
- Meghalaya Agriculture Services (MAS): B. Sc (Honours) Agriculture/Horticulture from the ICAR recognised University.
- Social Welfare Department: Master Degree in Social Work from a recognised University of Institute with specialisation in Family and child development/Criminology and correctional administration/ Urban and Rural Community Development / Social Welfare Administration.
- Law Department: Bachelor Degree in Law from a recognised University.
- Planning Department: Bachelor Degree with Economics / Mathematics/ Statistics as one of the subjects from any recognised University.
Salary and Benefits
Meghalaya Agriculture Services (MAS): Level-15 (Rs. 67,000 - 79,000)
Social Welfare Department: Level-15 (Rs. 67,000 - 79,000)
Law Department: Level-15 (Rs. 67,000 - 79,000)
Planning Department: Level-11 (37,800 to 86,400)
Other Terms and Conditions
- Age Limit: Candidate age must be between 18 to 32 years of age as on 1st January, 2024. Upper age limit is relaxable by 5 years for SC/ST candidates.
- Should be able to read or write in Khasi, Jaintia or Garo language.
- Fees: application fees of Rs. 460/- and Rs. 350/- for Research Assistant post candidates. (Half the rate for SC/ST candidates).
