Qualifications, Institute and Base Salary for MoHFW Group "B" and "C" Recruitment

Essential Qualifications:

1. Master’s Degree in relevant specialty i.e., Zoology/Micro-biology/ Biochemistry.

2. Science Graduate in Biology (Zoology, Life Sciences, Biotechnology), Biochemistry/Microbiology.

3. Matriculation or similar qualification with Science subjects from a recognized Board.

4. Diploma in refrigeration and Air conditioning. Or Mechanical / Electrical engineering / Electrical and Electronic engineering from a recognized University/Inst.

5. Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a State Medical faculty/ Institution.

6. Diploma in Health Inspector. Or Diploma in Sanitary Health Inspector from a recognized Board or University.

 7. Bachelor’s Degree in Library Science. or Library and Information Science from a recognized University/institute.

8. Training Certificate in Laboratory techniques and animal care from Government/private Institute.

9. Degree or Diploma in Physiotherapy from an Indian University or a recognized School. or similar qualification from abroad.

Base Salary -

The scale of pay for the vacant posts of Group B and C are base on the level in pay matrix of Government rule. the pay scale of different matrix is as follows -

Pay Level-1: Rs.18,000 to 56,900,

Pay Level-2: Rs.19,900 to 63,200,

Pay Level-3: Rs.21,700 to 69,100,

Pay Level-4: Rs.25,500 to 81,100,

Pay Level-5: Rs. 29,200-92,300,

Pay Level-6: Rs. 35,400-1,12,400

Pay Level-7: Rs. 44900-1,42,400

MoHFW Recruitment Selection Process, Exam, Syllabus and Fess

Application Fee -

The application fee for MoHFW Recruitment is Rs 600 for OBC candidates. for women and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), and Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) are exempted from the fee. Application fee should paid through online only.

Mode of Exam -

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria will have to appear in CBT Exam. The Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conduct only in English and Hindi. The Computer based examination will consist of MCQ paper containing 60 questions. Questions carrying 4 marks each and the time allotted for completing the CBT is 60 minutes. There will be a negative marking of 1 mark for each wrong answer. Candidates are, thus, advised to keep this in mind while answering the questions.

Center for Computer Based Test examination will be in -

Delhi & NCR, Chennai, Bangalore, Mumbai, Lucknow, Ranchi, Chandigarh, Guwahati and Kolkata.

Admit Card -

Admit cards for any stage of the examination will not sent via post. The option to download admit cards will be available on the official websites. Candidates are advised to visit official website regularly for any update.

Age Limit: The age limit for the Health Services, MoHFW recruitment is not below 18 years and not more to 40 years. Relaxation of upper age limit for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-serviceman/PwBD candidates will as per Govt. rules.

Syllabus for DGHS Recruitment of Group B and C posts under MoHFW

The CBT exam has 30% of generic questions (math, general knowledge, logical reasoning). 70% on education and experience related to the post. It has 60 objective questions (4 marks each) with a 60-minute time limit. All questions are of the multiple-choice type, presented in both English and Hindi. . There is a 1- negative mark for wrong answers. Candidates should be aware of the 1-mark deduction for each wrong answer.
